Default Screenshot of worldmap

I have a question about my worldmap.

I want to take a screenshot of my entire worldmap such as some people posted on this site but everytime I do, my map is full of smoke/fog.

I know that I can remove outposts with ctrl+shift+h but how can I remove the smoke/fog of my map so I can take a clean screenshot.

Maybe important, I play on a resolution of 1440x900, saved as .jpg and I open my screenshots with microsoft office picture manager.

Hopefully someone can help me.

Grtz.

You can get a clean map by taking screenshots of the 'U' map - the one opened by pressing U.

Alternatively I believe it is possible to get rid of the clouds using TexMod, but that would require some work. :P

The only thing about the U map is that you can't do the "whole world" thing, just the area that you're in. Unless I'm wrong? I'd really like to be.

You can scroll the map around within the U map by dragging it with a mouse. I put together a whole map that way once.
